Résumé : In this study, we look at the normative work developed by trainee teachers in the classroom, to ascertain how student teachers intervene to impose norms on the group and on particular students and what motivates these interventions. To ensure that this normative work is clearly understood, the methodology employed in this study is based on an analysis of discursive materials collected from trainee teachers during their teaching practice.
