| Résumé : | The analysis of Cu, Zn and Pb in several terrestrial ecosystems submitted to atmospheric pollution by SO2 and heavy metals shows an important contamination of soil and vegetation. Superficial contamination is important but the parameter of vegetal specificity also has to be taken into account. High quantities of Zn and Pb were found to be accumulated in the roots of several herbaceous species. The results of investigations of heavy metals contamination in Copper Hill, Tennessee; Aveyron, France; and Liege, Belgium are presented and discussed. |
