Résumé : Vitamin D deficiency is widespread throughout the world. Vitamin D has an important role in the regulation of phosphocalcic metabolism as well as in a large number of biological and metabolic processes. According to some studies, there is a correlation between vitamin D and LDL-cholesterol levels. A deficiency of vitamin D and / or a high level of LDL-cholesterol could represent risk factors for bone healing and osteointegration of dental implants. The purpose of our study is to demonstrate the reality of the problem of deficiency or deprivation in vitamin D in a population of patients requiring oral and / or implant surgery.
