Résumé : The experiments conducted by the psychologist Stanley Milgram have shown the extent to which people behaviours can be modified under coercion. Nonetheless, the mechanisms that could explain how coercion influences moral behaviours have been largely unexplored. In the present article, I propose a new perspective to try to understand these mechanisms: this involves the neuroscience of consciousness and how consciousness can influence our behaviours.
