Résumé : The performance of 250 liver and spleen scintigraphs resulted in the detection of 15 liver tumors in children. This work illustrates 8 especially demonstrative cases. The tracer applied was exclusively technetium colloides sulfur. Experience has shown the accuracy of this method to be comparable with that of coeliac arteriography. However, the dimensions and the nature of the tumor, as well as the blood supply, can only be well established via the latter method. The liver scans appears to be the most useful technique in the follow up of treated cases, in that it is a nonaggressive technique which is easily performed and especially adaptable for the child.
