Résumé : | Fifty years ago, the International Academy of Cytology, a scientific society devoted to the promotion of clinical cytology and the publication of a bimonthly journal, was founded in Brussels. The choice of Brussels did not happen by chance : the quality and the importance of the scientific work of the Belgian school of clinical cytology, particularly the one of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, justified this choice. |
