Résumé : We report the first structure determination of a covalent photoadduct between a Ru(II)-tap complex and a tryptophan-containing peptide (AlaTrpAla) by mass spectrometry and NMR spectroscopy. Ru(II)-tap complexes could thus be exploited as photodamaging agents of Trp-containing polypeptides or proteins.
