Résumé : One‐hundred‐and‐eighteen cases of manic‐depressive illness, subclassified into 68 unipolars and 50 bipolars, were typed for HLA‐A and B. Both groups showed the same antigen frequencies, with the exception of a slight increase of HLA‐B15 in bipolar patients. The incidence of HLA‐Bw15 was reduced in affectively ill patients as compared to controls.
