Résumé : A human genomic DNA clone for atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) gene was isolated from a human gene library using the previously cloned cDNA for rat ANF as a probe. Partial nucleotide sequencing of the cloned DNA revealed the location of a 120-bp long intron between Lys-41 and Asn-42 of the ANF precursor. Restriction mapping also suggested the existence of at least one other intron in or proximal to the 3' -untranslated region.
