Résumé : A kinetic model was developed for protein crystallization accounting for the nucleation stage, the growth and competition of solid particles. The model is based on a local equilibrium type of hypothesis. A two-box model of the continuous one-dimensional reactor was also developed, which allowed for a comprehensive study of the steady states. It is observed that this model provides information of their stability as well as on the kinetics of transitions between different states under the influence of the fluctuations.
