Résumé : The communication reflects on the theoretical framework of the Palgrave Handbook of Non-State Actors in East-West Relations through the prism of two contributions by the author to the volume "The Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment: Auxiliaries to Ukraine or an autonomous politico-military actor?" and "'The Lithuanians have our back’: Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office and the United Transitional Cabinet in the face of fragmented Western support" (the latter co-written with Kazharski).
