Résumé : The paradosis of Catullus’ Poem 102 is so severely corrupt that one might consider it beyond repair. Trappes-Lomax’s reconstruction, though more satisfactory, suffers from several shortcomings. A new text is proposed. It is shown that this version conforms to the constraints of meter and language. With the aim of establishing its palaeographical verisimilitude, an account is provided of the corruption process that presumably operated.
