Résumé : Given the high prevalence rates and the seriousness of the health problems incurred in cases of domestic violence, having tools to support the practice appears to be a necessity with regard to the clinical approach recommended by the latest " guidelines ". Developed from focus groups, these tools concern both the evaluation and the different stages of care. Some are materials addressed directly to practitioners, others are designed as an aid to dialogue with the patient and aim at psychoeducation on the chronicity of violence and the health impacts of exposed children. Their evaluation in the context of training in general medicine and maternity is very positive.
