Résumé : Erectile dysfunction is defined as the consistent or recurrent inability to obtain and/or maintain a penile erection sufficient for sexual activity. Erection is a vascular phenomenon under a psychoneurological control and situated in an hormonal environment. A variety of treatment options are available to the clinician including medical, psychological and surgical treatments. The choice of therapy should be based on careful matching of the patient's needs and preferences with the available treatment options.
