| Résumé : | The chapter provides an overview of the existing research on ‘theorizing the EU’s crises’ and outlines how the book advances scholarly debate on European integration theories in times of crisis. The chapter revisits classical integration theories with a critical approach by emphasizing the distinctive features of the current crisis context in Europe in regards to previous crises of the European integration process. It then summarizes the particular findings and added value of the chapters and concludes by highlighting new avenues for research in theorizing European integration. |
