Résumé : | The significance of diabetes and its treatment was studied in a population of 14 adolescents. The disease seems to reveal specific problems during adolescence and favors the onset of psychological disorders which were previously latent in these children, and which should therefore be considered as high risk from the psychological point of view. Only a personal doctor patient relationship together with full discussion permits the patient to become autonomous without excessive anxiety. |
