| Résumé : | This workshop provides a deeper look on how LOCKSS technology can be used to build a robust distributed digital preservation network. After a general introduction on the requirements for an ideal digital preservation solution based on risk assessment, the key LOCKSS concepts will be exposed. For an efficient preservation solution, organizational and financial aspects are at least as important as technology.Therefore, different types of collaboration models will also be discussed. Finally, future LOCKSS development will be presented. |
