Résumé : Current population displacements favor the re-emerging of diseases, nowadays very rare in Europe. We report two cases of ‘imported’ relapsing fever in two Somali asylum seekers occurring shortly after their arrival in Belgium. A diagnosis of relapsing fever should be considered in all migrants coming from endemic regions or having traveled in low hygiene and crowded conditions, presenting with recurrent fever, especially if no malaria parasites are found.
