| Résumé : | Several new 5‐aryl‐2,3,4,5‐tetrahydrobenzo[f]1,4‐oxazepine derivatives (1 to 18) were prepared by reduction of the 2,3‐dihydro compounds. Adams platinium was a suitable catalyst for hydrogenation. With other catalysts, reduction of a nitro group or debenzylation may occur before the alteration of the imine function of the heterocycle.
