Résumé : Firms are central to the functioning of the economy. Ever since Smith (1838) and Coase (1937), economists have gone a long way trying to understand why firms exist, how they are organized, and how they interact through the market. This thesis contributes to the study of how regulation and market incentives can affect firm decisions and their organization.
