Résumé : The variability of language development in children fitted with cochlear implants questions the social and human dimension in this process. This chapter puts the focus on the notion of« portage linguistique », ie the ability of parents and professionals to co-build the attentional and language skills of the child through a good enough attachment bond, and the impact of this process on brain development.
