Résumé : | Starting from the proposition that frontiers influence age structure in regions with historically imposed frontiers, the authors examine a region with several political, quasi-political and administrative frontiers. Two statistical techniques of multidimensional analysis are used: the classification by mobile centers and factorial analysis of correspondence. The choice of method is justified and its usefulness for cartographic presentation is demonstrated. -M.Dean |
