Résumé : Ophthalmic arteriography and orbital venography lend themselves particularly well to the diagnosis of orbital pathology. They constitute a useful adjunct to clinical and tomographic procedures. Orbital venography seems to be an ideal way of investigating intraorbital tumors. It often provides definite evidence of the occurrence of cavernous sinus involvement, although catheterization of the inferior petrous sinus may be preferred. Ophthalmic arteriography on the other hand provides useful information about new vascularization of a tumor, some cases of vascular abnormalities and periorbital pathology.
