        | Résumé : | The authors report a case of spinal infarction in a female of 17 due to embolism of nucleus pulposus in the spinal vessels. They review the literature concerning this phenomenon and discuss the possible mechanisms explaining the embolization. Schmorl's node and arterio venous shunts at the spinal level are likely responsible for this exceptional cause of myelomalacia. |
