Résumé :

D.c., a.c. and differential pulse polarography were used to elucidate the electrochemical behaviour of thiobarbituric acid and sodium pentothal. Important adsorption phenomena were shown, particularly for thiobarbituric acid. Considerable differences were found in the polarographic curves of the two compounds. The number of waves obtained depends on the concentration and the pH for both compounds. © 1975.
