Résumé : The chlorine-photosensitized oxidations of C2HCl3, 1,1,1,2-C2H2Cl4, and 1,1,2,2-C2H2Cl4 have been studied at 357°K. From a comparison of the products of these long-chain reactions it can be concluded that the rate constant for the addition of a chlorine atom to the less chlorinated carbon atom in trichloroethylene is at least eight times greater than that for addition to the more chlorinated one.
