Résumé : The in vitro study of the sensitivity of 200 strains of Gram positive as well as Gram negative bacteria, carried out in agar plate dilution in accordance with the method of Steers and co workers, demonstrates the more evident inhibitory effects of tobramycin with respect to gentamicin on 10 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. On the other bacteria, gentamicin has an activity equivalent or superior to that of tobramycin. The results are divergent; these differences cannot be justified be methodology alone.
