Résumé : Lung volumes and specific airway conductance were measured in 6 asymptomatic asthmatics before and after histamine aerosols. Histamine induced a moderate asthma crisis reflected in a significant decrease of vital capacity and specific airway conductance and a significant increase of thoracic gas and residual volume. Though the mean increase in total lung capacity was not statistically significant, in each of 4 individual patients total lung capacity increased significantly from control values.
