Résumé : A statistical theory of superfluidity in imperfect Bose gases is presented. It is shown that the density fluctuations which are linear in the creation and destruction operators of excitations correspond to the superfluid, while the fluctuations which are quadratic in these operators give rise to the normal fluid. In this way a direct link is established between the two fluid model and the macroscopic occupation of the ground state. © 1957.
