| Résumé : | We introduce a Fisher type of reaction-diffusion equation which describes the spatio-temporal evolution of cellular tissues consisting of two populations of cells differing by their replication capability. Various modes of tissue growth may exist which correspond to different wave-like solutions of this equation. The competition between cancer growth and cell-mediated cytolysis is situated within the framework of this approach. © 1980. |
