Résumé : The paper presents a status report on the tasks and organization in USO planning delivered by the Belgium's USO Definition Team representative. Belgium plans to develop a support center allowing easy access to space for the future scientific and industrial users of Columbus. Since the Columbus attached laboratory and the Columbus free flying laboratory are mostly devoted to microgravity experiments, this support center should be regarded as a microgravity experimenter support center. The non-microgravity disciplines could, of course, also benefit from the PTF support centre infrastructure (i.e. the communication network, the telescience possibilities, etc.). The center will not be discipline oriented, but will support all the microgravity experimenters. Belgium is also involved in a commercial experiment in the context of the Eureka European Programme of new technologies.
