Résumé : As D. Briquel and Cl. Sterckx proved, the account of the Etruscan era at Rome is founded upon the Indo-European ideology. Thus the Etruscan queens override their function: Tanaquil arrogates parts of the kingship to herself and Tullia instigates an impious and almost civic war. But Lucretia, a Roman matron, is violated by Superbus' son, who sins against the third function.
