Résumé : Breast reconstruction after mastectomy should be an integrated part in the therapeutical approach of a patient with breast cancer. It rehabilitates the woman's body and femininity. Breast implant is the option most frequently used, although other alternatives exist, as breast reconstruction with autologous tissues. The major advantage of the breast implant reconstruction is the reduced surgery, but risks of complications are real and the long term evolution shows a frequent deterioration of aesthetic aspect.
