Résumé : The dissociation energy of the molecules MgO, CaO, SrO was determined: D0°(MgO) = 86±5; D0°(CaO) = 93±5; D0(SrO) = 102±5 kcal/mole. The ground state was considered to be 1Σ. This choice is discussed. A discussion of the literature values for D0°(MgO, CaO, SrO) is made. The molecule Sr 2O was identified and its atomization energy determined: ΔH0°, at(Sr2O) = 194±6 kcal/mole.
