Résumé : Sequential measurements of both the lesser circulation pressures and the blood gas tensions were made in 13 infants with bronchiolitis. Moderate pulmonary hypertension was present in most subjects but there was no evidence of heart failure. Pulmonary hypertension correlated with hypoxemia and disappeared after high oxygen mixture breathing. The significance of the results and the therapeutic implications are discussed.
