Résumé : Femtosecond Raman soliton generation was demonstrated by pumping untapered photonic crystal fibre (PCF) with 110 femtosecond pulses from a modelocked Ti:sapphire laser. Autocorrelation and spectral measurements were used to analyze PCF output. Numerical simulations using an extended nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLSE) were shown to accurately model the Raman soliton generation over a range of peak powers.
