Résumé : This article examines the importance of ethnic and cultural factors in mental health and mental illness, through consideration of race and culture in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness, by examining patterns of service utilization by multicultural populations, and by advocating for policies which support multicultural initiatives in public mental health.
