Résumé : | Abstract:Background: Ovarian pregnancy is an uncommon form of ectopic pregnancy and its preoperative diagnosis can be difficult.Case Report: For the first time, laparoscopic treatment of a case of ovarian pregnancy after in vitro fertilization is reported. Observation of the patient after the fertilization, with close monitoring of human chorionic gonadotropin levels and routine vaginal ultrasound scanning, allowed for early suspicion of ectopic pregnancy.Discussion: The diagnosis of ovarian pregnancy was made using a laparoscopic approach, which also provided the means for conservative surgical treatment. Conclusion: Careful hormonal and ultrasound monitoring of early pregnancy is essential for early suspicion of ovarian pregnancy. Laparoscopic management allows rapid confirmation of the diagnosis while preserving healthy ovarian tissue important for the future fertility of the patient. |
