        | Résumé : | The Surviving Sepsis Campaign (SSC), an initiative of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), the International Sepsis Forum (ISF), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), was developed in 2002 in a global effort to improve the management, diagnosis, and treatment of sepsis. The three planned phases of the SSC reached a conclusion in December 2008, but the ideas created continue to impact on the daily management of the patient with severe sepsis. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Milan. |
