Résumé : A report is presented on 3 cases of pancreatitis revealed by an abundant pleural effusion. In each case, investigation revealed a transdiaphragmatic fistula, linking the pancreas with the pleural cavity. In 2 cases, pleural drainage led to the drying up of both the pleural effusion and the pseudocyst which was responsible for the thoracic pathology.
