Résumé : The effect of the molecular noise by considering the stochastic version of a core deterministic model for circadian oscillations of the PER protein and its mRNA in Drosophila is discussed. The model is based on the cooperative repression of the per gene by the PER protein. Gillespie method is used to perform the numerical simulations of the stochastic model. The results show that the regulatory feedback processes at the cellular level allow the emergence of the coherent biological rhythm out of molecular noise.
