Résumé : Scientists believe that in a low-carbon society, nuclear energy is a valuable asset. Belgium reliesfor a maximum of 56% on nuclear energy. However, since 2003 the Belgian governmentdecided to pursue a phase-out policy. Meaning the country will not rely any more on this typeof energy. The current energy crisis, which led to the rise of prices in the international markethas reopened the debate in the public opinion. The Ecolo party, historically against the nuclearenergy has shown a softening of position. Thanks to a sentiment network analysis conductedfrom October 2014, until December 2022, this research links the Ecolo and public opiniontowards nuclear energy. The result shown that a similar tendency has been displayed during theanalysis. Political marketing theories are called to explain this phenomenon. It results that theEcolo party might use a sale-oriented party models, to positioning the nuclear issue in thepolitical market.
