Résumé : Abstract The aim of this final dissertation entitled The Europeanization of Gender Equality beyond the EU: The case of Georgia from 2012 to 2020 is to comprehend how the process of Europeanization beyond the EU influences Gender Equality policies in Georgia. In other words, this study explores the effects caused by the process as mentioned earlier in Gender Equality policies in one of the non-member and non-candidate states such as Georgia. As a result of reviewing the various scholarly works published over the past years, it can be boldly stated that this study tends to be unique. This is because studying Gender Equality policies through the Europeanization process in the post-Soviet Union state such as Georgia is relatively new in the academic literature. The structure of the research is following. Chapter 1 explores background information about Gender Equality in Georgia and highlights the inspiration for the paper. Chapter 2 covers more than 15 sources, both scientific articles and contextual grey literature about Europeanization beyond the EU and Gender Equality. This chapter also covers the methodological design, which presents the data collection and the II distinct categories. However, it must be noted that some scholars criticize studying Europeanization outside the EU and, in particular, concerning the partner countries, including Georgia. Chapter 3 and 4 are the main body sections of this work. These chapters cover the research findings and discussion around the central research question. Last but not least, the conclusion Chapter 5 aims to restate the results and conclude the work briefly.
