Résumé : This thesis discusses how the three main aviation intergovernmental organizations (IGO), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) deal with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The following research question is raised: “How and why do IGOs define, justify and research the use of Artificial Intelligence in the aviation industry? A case study of ICAO, EASA and EUROCONTROL through the lens of National Aviation Authorities”. A Science and Technology Studies (STS) framework is adopted.
