Résumé : | This study is to explain Germany's asylum policy by using the “open-door” policy to solve the problem of refugees who dispersed in the European Union from 2015 to 2018. The “open door” policy was adopted by Germany and was defined by Angela Merkel as a policy in Germany. In addition, Germany is the one of the countries of the European Union, which has opened many of their routes for refugees. Especially for refugees from Syria, who have chosen Germany as their destination for evacuation from the war in the Middle East. In addition to the policy which was adopted by Angela Merkel, the refugees have chosen Germany as their destination because the residents of the German state accepted refugees on the basis of humanity. The aim of this study is to explain why Germany has issued an "open-door" policy for refugees that will help to manage to increase economic situation in their country. This dissertation uses a qualitative and a quantitative methods of research by reviewing the literature. The thesis uses the foreign decision making model. There are three factors in the formulation of the foreign decision making model according to W.D. Coplin such as domestic political situation, economic and international context. |
