Résumé : | Sympathetic activation and respiratory abnormalities may each be implicated in the pathophysiology of congestive heart failure (CHF). Chemoreflexes are an important mechanism regulating both sympathetic drive and breathing. We therefore tested the hypothesis that chemoreflex function is altered in CHF. |
