Résumé : | One could wonder if cavity solitons can be made arbitrarily small by including lefthanded materials in a nonlinear cavity. However, as their typical size tends to zero, higher order spatial effects will become more important. Here, we investigate how the linear nonlocality of the metamaterial imposes limits on the size of cavity solitons. |
