Résumé : This paper, starts by building a typology of theme parks, based on the satisfaction of consumers and the degree of “theming” using a dataset of 70 European parks. Then, controlling for the presence of outliers, the authors propose a ranking of parks with respect to prices and attendance. The article finally points out the main characteristics that impact theme parks attendance and entry prices. They stress the positive correlation between prices and attendance and highlight the important underlying role of investments in this relation.
