Résumé : This study puts to the test the assumptions according to which (1) cannabis overconsumption indicates a difficulty of resolution of the Oedipal conflict (great proximity of the youngster with his mother versus emotional distance with the father) and a difficulty of co-individuation of the youngster with his parents; (2) it seems to be a substitute mechanism of the second phase of the rite of passage by allowing the postponing of the adolescent's differentiation process. The prospects of this research are clinical: the point is to elicit the psychic, relational and contextual factors that allow the passage from overconsumption to controlled consumption or abstinence.
