Résumé : | Preparation of copper-rhodium alloy single crystals by the vertical Bridgman method is described in this paper. Dendritic structures are formed during the solidification process of 1.5, 4, 8.75 and 15 at.% Rh alloys. Various methods (microindentation, electron microprobe and scanning Auger microscopy) are used to characterize the solute distribution. A study of the formation conditions and of the thermal stability of the structures is also presented. The results are in agreement with existing models. © 1991. |
